A: Clients are always surprised to hear that nearly everyone has a time or two that they'd like to downplay on their resume. Hiring managers and recruiters know that all sorts of things happen in the course of all careers; setting your career aside to raise a family is one of the most common. So, it's all in how you present the time that you were away. Just don't make the brutal mistake of acting like it didn't happen.
