Client Profile - Temporary Work Works Well

I just heard back from a client who – for a long time – was reluctant to consider temporary employment. She held on to an outmoded notion that it was somehow not an option for someone not pursuing clerical work. In March, Laura completed her third long-term assignment with a major, reputable employer in her area (the other two assignments were also with similarly impressive employers). Just last week, Laura was offered a permanent position with one of the companies.
"I was really starting to enjoy the temporary assignments," she said. "I actually had to think long and hard about whether or not I wanted to jump back into a permanent position."
We talked about what a change in thinking this was for her. She's proud of herself for adapting to an ever-evolving employment landscape.
